Meet Gaetano Gambino
Gaetano Gambino has been making pizzas for loyal fans in Miami for over 40 years. Many locals will remember this witty and spirited Italian from his days at Cozzoli’s Pizza in Dadeland Mall – especially if you were around in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew! Cozzoli’s was one of the few places that remained open after the hurricane and gave everyone a sense of normalcy in an otherwise chaotic time.
Like most Italians, Gaetano loves to feed people! He takes pride in his ingredients and his recipes, and it shows. His heart and soul are in his cooking, and it brings him great joy to see people eat and enjoy the food he has prepared. He can almost always be found in the kitchen, kneading dough and simmering sauce (his own secret recipe) and making sure everything is done just so.
